Welcome to Weevva Systems Ltd. ("Weevva," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, website, mobile application, and associated services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our Services.
1.2 By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Account Registration

2.1 To use certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and update such information as needed.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are liable for all activities conducted through your account.

3. Scope of Services

3.1 Weevva provides a platform for landlords and tenants to connect and manage rental relationships, including tenant verification, lease management, rent collection, and communication.
3.2 Weevva is not a party to rental agreements between landlords and tenants and is not responsible for the actions or omissions of either party.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws, including residential tenancy laws in your jurisdiction.
4.2 You shall not:

• Use the Services for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.
• Upload or transmit harmful content, including viruses or malware.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Services.

5. Tenant Verification and Data Accuracy

5.1 The tenant verification services provided by Weevva are based on the information provided by users and third-party verification providers. Weevva does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of this information.
5.2 Users are responsible for verifying the suitability of rental agreements or arrangements.

6. Fees and Payments

6.1 Landlords may be required to pay subscription fees to access certain features of the Services. Fees will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
6.2 Tenants may purchase optional verification services on a one-time basis.
6.3 All payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 All content on the Weevva platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the intellectual property of Weevva Systems Ltd. and is protected under copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
7.2 Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without express written permission.

8. Data Collection and Usage

8.1 Personal Data: Weevva collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we protect and use your information.
8.2 De-Identified and Aggregated Data: Weevva reserves the right to aggregate and de-identify user data collected through the Services. This de-identified data may be used for analytical purposes, platform improvement, or sold to third parties. No personally identifiable information (PII) will be included in any aggregated data sold or shared.
8.3 By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this clause and our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weevva Systems Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
9.2 Advice and Recommendations: While Weevva makes every effort to provide accurate guidance, recommendations, and tools to help users comply with tenancy laws and improve rental outcomes, no liability is accepted for any actions or decisions taken based on this advice. Users are encouraged to seek independent professional or legal advice when needed.

10. Termination

10.1 Weevva may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
10.2 Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Newfoundland and Labrador and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
11.2 Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Newfoundland and Labrador.

12. Changes to Terms

12.1 Weevva reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. If changes are made, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through additional communication.
12.2 Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
